Dr. Karla Viera-Negron is a board certified psychiatrist.
She provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy. Through compassionate care, active listening skills, and a person oriented approach; she treats adults suffering from a variety of mental ailments.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Viera experienced a childhood surrounded by the vibrant culture and warm community of the island. From an early age, she was fascinated by the intricate workings of the human mind and felt a deep desire to help those in need. This passion led her to pursue a career in psychiatry, where she could combine her love for science with her dedication to mental health.
After completing her medical degree in Puerto Rico, Dr. Viera decided to explore new opportunities and broaden her horizons. This brought her to bustling cities like Detroit and Atlanta, where she honed her skills and gained valuable experience working as a private practice psychiatrist.
While thriving in the fast-paced urban environment, Dr. Viera yearned for a deeper connection with her patients and a sense of purpose beyond the confines of a traditional clinical setting. Fate intervened when she discovered a charming, rural town just outside of Atlanta. Captivated by its tranquility and close-knit community, she decided to make this picturesque place her new home.
It was during this transformative phase that Dr. Viera began to contemplate how she could expand her reach and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges. She envisioned a practice that would bridge the gap between different cultures and languages, catering to both English and Spanish-speaking patients. Hence, the concept of “Ever Purpose” was born.
“Ever Purpose” is Dr. Viera’s vision turned reality—a unique and innovative psychiatric service that provides care through telemedicine and in-person consultations. By leveraging modern technology, Dr. Viera is able to connect with patients from Atlanta and beyond, breaking down physical barriers and ensuring access to quality mental healthcare for all.
